Downtown Jefferson City - Video

In early 2020, HGTV announced that they were on the hunt for a small town to renovate for an upcoming TV series. We partnered with the Mossy Creek Foundation of Jefferson City, Tennessee, to help them produce a video as a part of their HGTV application!

Downtown Jefferson City has seen some hard days in the past, but take a walk down Old A.J. or Main Street and a transformation seems to be taking place. For the last several decades, many citizens, businesses, organizations, and counsel members have worked hard to bring life back to our beloved downtown. New businesses opening alongside familiar ones, historic buildings under renovation, grants in process, frequent community-wide events (like the Arts Festival!), a delightful park, and hope for the future. There is a lot to be proud of in our downtown! Of course, there is a lot of work ahead, too. Since the Mossy Creek Foundation was founded in 2012, we’ve seen some tremendous progress made, but we believe even more is on the horizon. It’s a new day in Mossy Creek. Join us in building on the past and envisioning the future.
